The Lincoln Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Petersburg Vikings to 50 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martinsburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Lincoln will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-23 non-league win over Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-1.
