The River Hill Hawks basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Oakland Mills Scorpions to 48 in the Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reservoir for a Howard County contest on Saturday, January 20. River Hill will battle a 'Gators team coming off a 51-28 league win over Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The 'Gators record now stands at 6-3.
