Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Walton Warriors (Walton, NY) and the visiting Oxford Academy Blackhawks (Oxford, NY), saw Walton's basketball squad wallop Oxford Academy by a tally of 54-22.

With the victory, Walton improves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Delaware Academy (Delhi, NY) to confront the Bulldogs in a Section 4 Midstate challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Delaware Academy won 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Sidney (Sidney, NY)

Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Delaware Academy Bulldogs (Delhi, NY) in a Section 4 Midstate challenge, on Friday, January 19. Oxford Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
