Minnesota High School Basketball - Park Rapids tops Staples-Motley
January 12, 2024: Staples, MN 56479 Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Staples-Motley Cardinals (Staples, MN), 74-66 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Park Rapids upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN) to play the Rangers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rangers come into the bout with a record of 10-4. Crosby-Ironton lost 84-60 in their recent non-league bout against New London-Spicer (New London, MN)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Frazee Hornets (Frazee, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Staples-Motley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 70-49 league loss to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN).
