Nevada High School Basketball - Pershing County overwhelms Silver Stage
January 12, 2024: Silver Springs, NV 89429 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) and the host Silver Stage Nighthawks (Silver Springs, NV), saw Pershing County's basketball squad wallop Silver Stage by a tally of 57-2.
With the victory, Pershing County improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to play the Falcons in a challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost 18-16 in their recent league challenge against Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV)
Next up, the Nighthawks play the Yerington Lions (Yerington, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Silver Stage will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 32-28 league loss to Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV).
