The Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV), 35-32 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (10-1) will now prepare for their test against West Wendover (West Wendover, NV). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record.

The Longhorns now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Coral Academy of Science - Reno for a test on Saturday, January 27.
