January 12, 2024: Cambridge, MA 02138 Rivers Red Wings (Weston, MA) followers left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights (Cambridge, MA), 9-1 in a league match.
The Red Wings (8-6) will now prepare for their match against St. Mark's (Southborough, MA). The Lions enter the match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, St. Mark's was trounced by Roxbury Latin (West Roxbury, MA), 4-1, in a league match.
Next up, the Knights clash with the St. George's Dragons (Middletown, RI) in a match, on Wednesday, January 17. Buckingham Browne & Nichols will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Groton School (Groton, MA).
