California High School Basketball - Yreka nips Lassen
January 12, 2024: Susanville, CA 96130 Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 60-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Yreka upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Miners host Phoenix (Phoenix, OR) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
Next up, the Grizzlies play the Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Lassen will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 56-42 league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA).
