California High School Basketball - Rio Linda overwhelms Woodland
January 12, 2024: Rio Linda, CA 95673 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) and the visiting Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA), saw Rio Linda's basketball squad wallop Woodland by a tally of 78-26.
With the victory, Rio Linda improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Knights host Dixon (Dixon, CA) to confront the Rams in a challenge on Friday, January 19. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Dixon won 42-39 in their recent league challenge against Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Woodland will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Capitals come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 38-28 league loss to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA).
