January 12, 2025: Old Forge, PA 18518 The crowd at Sunday's league challenge between the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) and the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), observed Old Forge's basketball team knock off Western Wayne by a score of 52-38.
The Blue Devils (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings come into the Lackawanna 3 challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Riverside dropped by Honesdale (Honesdale, PA), 59-35, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Western Wayne will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 41-37 league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).
