Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Classical Purple (Providence, RI), 52-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 10-0 on the year. The Lions host Cumberland (Cumberland, RI) to face the Clippers in a Division I game on Wednesday, January 14. The Clippers go into the game with a record of 2-6. Cumberland lost 78-51 in their recent league game against Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI)

With the loss, Classical falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Purple host Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI) to confront the Hawks in a Division I game on Wednesday, January 14.
