Center Place (Independence, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Overland Christian Eagle (Overland Park, KS), 45-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Center Place upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The host Christian Learning Center (Fort Scott, KS) to clash with the Mustangs in a Mo-Kan Christian bout on Friday, January 14. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Christian Learning Center won 66-42 in their recent league bout against El Dorado Christian (El Dorado Springs, MO)

Next up, the Eagle play the Clinton Christian Academy Patriots (Clinton, MO) in a Mo-Kan Christian challenge, on Friday, January 14. Overland Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 35-34 league win over El Dorado Christian (El Dorado Springs, MO).
