Georgia High School Basketball - Jackson tops Villa Rica
January 13, 2022: Atlanta, GA 30316 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Jackson Jaguars (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting Villa Rica Wildcats (Villa Rica, GA), saw Jackson's basketball squad knock off Villa Rica by a count of 77-61.
With the victory, Jackson upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Mundy's Mill lost 54-46 in their recent league challenge against Woodward Academy (College Park, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 14. Villa Rica will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 61-53 league win over New Manchester (Douglasville, GA).
