The Aurora Central Catholic Chargers basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs to 44 in the Chargers league triumph on Thursday.

The Chargers now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a Metro Suburban contest on Tuesday, January 18. Aurora Central Catholic will battle a Spartans team coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 12-8.

The Bulldogs (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Glenbrook North triumphed over De La Salle (Chicago, IL), 41-37, in a non-league contest.
