The Cross County Cougars basketball team scored 36 points and held the visiting Twin River Titans to 27 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to David City for a non-league contest on Friday, January 14. Cross County will meet a Scouts team coming off a 40-33 non-league win over Raymond Central (Raymond, NE). The Scouts record now stands at 12-0.

The Titans (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Wisner-Pilger ran past Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (Hooper, NE), 53-40, in a non-league contest.
