Iowa High School Basketball - Denison-Schleswig knocked off by Sergeant Bluff-Luton
January 13, 2022: Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054 The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Denison-Schleswig Monarchs to 42 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Warriors now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson for a Missouri River contest on Friday, January 14. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 48-33 non-league loss to Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-8.
The Monarchs (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Boone (Boone, IA). The Toreadors enter the non-league contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Boone was defeated by North Polk (Alleman, IA), 65-32, in a league contest.
