Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA), 46-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewis Central upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Titans travel to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Friday, January 21. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Shenandoah lost 37-30 in their recent league bout against Creston (Creston, IA)

Next up, the Monarchs clash with the St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Friday, January 21. Denison-Schleswig will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 56-54 non-league win over AHSTW (Avoca, IA).
