In Friday's league match, the host Shenandoah Mustangs basketball team scored a good 47-38 triumph over the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 31. Shenandoah will attempt to move on its 10-8 season record.
