The Elma Eagles basketball team scored 26 points and held the host Hoquiam Grizzlies to 25 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eatonville for a 1A Evergreen contest on Monday, January 17. Elma will battle a Cruisers team coming off a 67-22 league loss to Montesano (Montesano, WA). The Cruisers record now stands at 0-5.
