Ohio High School Basketball - Norwayne trounces Northwestern

January 13, 2022: Creston, OH 44217

The Norwayne Bobcats (Creston, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH), 49-24 in Thursday's league test.

The Bobcats (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Chippewa (Doylestown, OH). The Chipps go into the Wayne County test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Chippewa was trounced by West Branch (Beloit, OH), 44-39, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mapleton for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 18. Northwestern will encounter a Mounties squad coming off a 52-36 league win over South Central (Greenwich, OH). The Mounties record now stands at 11-4.
