Illinois High School Basketball - Olympia fells St. Thomas More
January 13, 2022: Stanford, IL 61774 Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers (Champaign, IL), 57-37 in a league challenge.
With the victory, Olympia improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Peoria Heights/Quest Charter Academy (Peoria Heights, IL) to confront the in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 15. The come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Peoria Heights/Quest Charter Academy lost 60-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Midwest Central/Delavan (Manito, IL)
Next up, the Sabers confront the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) in a Illini Prairie challenge, on Monday, January 17. St. Thomas More will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record.
