Tennessee High School Basketball - Pigeon Forge overwhelmed by Alcoa
January 13, 2023: Alcoa, TN 37701 The Alcoa Tornadoes basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Pigeon Forge Tigers to 45 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Friday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sevier County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Alcoa will battle a Smoky Bears team coming off a 62-51 league win over Morristown-Hamblen West (Morristown, TN). The Smoky Bears record now stands at 9-7.
The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Patriots come into the 2A District 2 contest with a 4-4 record.
