In Friday's non-league outing, the Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), by a count of 55-27.

The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE). The Wolfpack go into the D1 District 5 outing with a 9-5 record.
