The Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE), 45-31 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Coyotes (1-16) will now prepare for their test against Maywood/Hayes Center (Maywood, NE). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 19-1 record. In their last test, Maywood/Hayes Center notched a victory over Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE), 53-40, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Mullen for a non-league test on Friday, February 3.
