The Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Twin Loup Wolves (Sargent, NE), 46-31 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE). The Broncos go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record.

The Wolves now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hyannis for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Twin Loup will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-0.
