The Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE) basketball nipped the host Brady Eagles (Brady, NE), 52-46 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Mavericks (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Paxton got by South Platte (Big Springs, NE), 73-23, in a league test.
