Missouri High School Basketball - Ash Grove crushes Sarcoxie
January 13, 2023: Sarcoxie, MO 64862 Ash Grove Pirates (Ash Grove, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sarcoxie Bears (Sarcoxie, MO), 63-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Ash Grove upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Pirates host Lockwood (Lockwood, MO) to clash with the Tigers in a Southwest bout on Monday, January 23. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Lockwood won 48-11 in their recent non-league bout against Everton (Everton, MO)
Next up, the Bears clash with the Purdy Eagles (Purdy, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Sarcoxie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 66-49 league loss to Sparta (Sparta, MO).
