Missouri High School Basketball - Ash Grove crushes Pierce City
January 27, 2023: Pierce City, MO 65723 Ash Grove Pirates (Ash Grove, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO), 73-41 in a league bout.
With the victory, Ash Grove upgrades its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Miller (Miller, MO) to play the Cardinals in a Southwest bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 8-10. Miller won 65-58 in their recent league bout against Diamond (Diamond, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Marionville Comets (Marionville, MO) in a Southwest bout, on Monday, January 30. Pierce City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Comets come into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 68-34 league win over Pleasant Hope (Pleasant Hope, MO).
