January 13, 2023: West Hartford, CT 06117 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) and the visiting Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), saw Northwest Catholic's basketball squad wallop Avon by a tally of 87-49.
With the victory, Northwest Catholic improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Bristol Central (Bristol, CT) to confront the Rams in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-5.
Next up, the Falcons confront the Bristol Central Rams (Bristol, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Avon will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 51-47 non-league win over Maloney (Meriden, CT).
