January 26, 2023: Avon, CT 06001 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Conard Red Wolves (West Hartford, CT) and the host Avon Falcons (Avon, CT), saw Conard's basketball squad overcome Avon by a tally of 61-42.
With the victory, Conard improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Red Wolves travel to East Catholic (Manchester, CT) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-1. East Catholic won 78-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Avon will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 42-36 league win over East Windsor (East Windsor, CT).
