January 13, 2023: Booker, TX 79005 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Booker Kiowas (Booker, TX) and the visiting Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX), saw Booker's basketball squad overcome Sanford-Fritch by a tally of 61-48.
With the victory, Booker improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Kiowas host Stratford (Stratford, TX) to confront the Elks in a 2A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Elks come into the challenge with a record of 2-9.
Next up, the Eagles confront the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) in a 2A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Sanford-Fritch will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Comanches come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 57-45 league win over Sunray (Sunray, TX).
