Texas High School Basketball - Brownwood holds off Graham
January 13, 2023: Brownwood, TX 76801 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Brownwood Lions (Brownwood, TX) and the visiting Graham Steers (Graham, TX), saw Brownwood's basketball squad hold off Graham by a tally of 70-66.
With the victory, Brownwood improves its record to 11-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Stephenville (Stephenville, TX) to confront the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees in a 4A Region I District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Yellow Jackets/Honeybees come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Stephenville lost 58-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX)
Next up, the Steers confront the Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX) in a 4A Region I District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Graham will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 21-6 record after their 59-30 league win over Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX).
