New York High School Basketball - Clinton fells Canastota
January 13, 2023: Canastota, NY 13032 Clinton Warriors (Clinton, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Canastota Red Raiders (Canastota, NY), 63-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Clinton upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Warriors host Sauquoit Valley (Sauquoit, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 3 Center State III bout on Monday, January 16. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Sauquoit Valley lost 46-45 in their recent non-league bout against Adirondack (Boonville, NY)
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Dolgeville Blue Devils (Dolgeville, NY) in a Section 3 Center State II bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Canastota will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
