The Oakridge Owls (Arlington, TX) basketball nipped the host Casady Cyclones (Oklahoma City, OK), 61-57 in Friday's league test.

The Owls (17-8) will now prepare for their test against Fort Worth Country Day (Fort Worth, TX). The Falcons go into the Southwest Prep - North test with a 12-5 record.

The Cyclones now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Episcopal School of Dallas for a Southwest Prep - North test on Saturday, January 14. Casady will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 75-71 league loss to Greenhill (Addison, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-13.
