The Wildcats now possess a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Victoria East for a 5A Region IV District 29 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Gregory-Portland will battle a Titans team coming off a 56-53 league loss to Ray (Corpus Christi, TX). The Titans record now stands at 15-10.
The Trojans (7-12) will now prepare for their battle against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region IV District 29 battle with a 17-9 record. In their last battle, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial edged Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX), 75-58, in a league battle.
