California High School Basketball - Credo nips Sonoma Academy

January 13, 2023: Santa Rosa, CA 95404

Credo Gryphon (Rohnert Park, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sonoma Academy Coyotes (Santa Rosa, CA), 34-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Credo upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Gryphon travel to Calistoga (Calistoga, CA) to play the Wildcats in a North Central II bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 8-4. Calistoga won 42-29 in their recent league bout against Roseland Collegiate Prep (Santa Rosa, CA)

Next up, the Coyotes play the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Sonoma Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 53-36 league loss to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA).
