Crestview Rebels (Columbiana, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Garfield G-Men (Garrettsville, OH), 61-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Crestview upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to LaBrae (Leavittsburg, OH) to play the Vikings in a Mahoning Valley - Grey bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 8-4. LaBrae won 56-46 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast (Ravenna, OH)

Next up, the G-Men play the Brookfield Warriors (Brookfield, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Grey bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Garfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 72-64 non-league win over Conneaut (Conneaut, OH).
