January 13, 2023: Methuen, MA 01844 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Methuen Rangers (Methuen, MA) and the visiting Dracut Middies (Dracut, MA), saw Methuen's basketball squad overcome Dracut by a tally of 61-50.
With the victory, Methuen improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA) to confront the Lions in a Merrimack Valley - Small challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Chelmsford won 56-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Westford Academy (Westford, MA)
Next up, the Middies confront the Haverhill Hillies (Haverhill, MA) in a Merrimack Valley - Small challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Dracut will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Hillies come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 73-58 league win over Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA).
