Connecticut High School Basketball - Shelton fells East Haven
January 13, 2023: Shelton, CT 06484 Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT), 68-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Shelton upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Gaels travel to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Cheshire lost 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against New Milford (New Milford, CT)
Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the North Haven Nighthawks (North Haven, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. East Haven will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Nighthawks go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 61-57 non-league loss to Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT).
