Indiana High School Basketball - Frankfort tops Western Boone

Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN), 54-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Frankfort upgrades its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Hot Dogs travel to Rossville (Rossville, IN) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 8-6. Rossville won 65-60 in their recent league bout against Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN)

Next up, the Stars play the Hamilton Heights Huskies (Arcadia, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Western Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 60-54 non-league loss to Lapel (Lapel, IN).
