Iowa High School Basketball - Kuemper nips Glenwood
January 13, 2023: Carroll, IA 51401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) and the visiting Glenwood Rams (Glenwood, IA), saw Kuemper's basketball squad hold off Glenwood by a tally of 76-70.
With the victory, Kuemper improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Bishop Heelan Catholic won 59-56 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA)
Next up, the Rams play the Maryville Spoofhounds (Maryville, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Glenwood will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Spoofhounds come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 42-40 non-league win over East Buchanan (Gower, MO).
