Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA), 55-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Saratoga upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Falcons travel to St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA) to clash with the Pilots in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Pilots go into the bout with a record of 5-8. St. Joseph Notre Dame lost 48-47 in their recent league bout against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA)

Next up, the Titans clash with the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza bout, on Monday, January 16. Gunn will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 52-33 league win over Los Altos (Los Altos, CA).
