Texas High School Basketball - Presidio nips Kermit
January 13, 2023: Presidio, TX 79845 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Presidio Blue Devils (Presidio, TX) and the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX), saw Presidio's basketball squad hold off Kermit by a tally of 47-44.
With the victory, Presidio improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Alpine (Alpine, TX) to play the Bucks in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bucks come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Alpine lost 70-60 in their recent league challenge against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Compass Academy (Odessa, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Kermit will attempt to improve on its 10-15 season record. The come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 90-42 league loss to Tornillo (Tornillo, TX).
