The Lewis Cass Kings basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Pioneer Panthers to 42 in the Kings non-league victory on Friday.

The Kings now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logansport for a non-league match on Saturday, January 14. Lewis Cass will meet a Berries team coming off a 62-56 league win over McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN). The Berries record now stands at 4-9.

With the defeat, Pioneer moves to 2-11 on the year. The Panthers travel to Carroll (Flora, IN) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, January 14. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 8-3. Carroll lost 72-66 in their recent league match against Clinton Prairie (Frankfort, IN)
