Wyoming High School Basketball - Lovell thwarts Wind River
January 13, 2023: Lovell, WY 82431 The Lovell Bulldogs (Lovell, WY) basketball knocked off the visiting Wind River Cougars (Pavillion, WY), 61-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Worland (Worland, WY). The Warriors go into the 3A Northwest test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Worland notched a victory over Rocky Mountain (Cowley, WY), 78-39, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rocky Mountain for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Wind River will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 49-47 non-league win over Hot Springs County (Thermopolis, WY). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-5.
