Tennessee High School Basketball - McEwen knocked off by McKenzie
January 13, 2023: McEwen, TN 37101 The McKenzie Rebels basketball team scored 50 points and held the host McEwen Warriors to 42 in the Rebels league triumph on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson South Side for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. McKenzie will battle a Hawks team coming off a 67-61 non-league loss to Covington (Covington, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
The Warriors (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dresden (Dresden, TN). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Dresden was defeated by Bradford (Bradford, TN), 50-43, in a league contest.
