The Messmer Bishops basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting St. Francis Mariners to 63 in the Bishops league victory on Friday.

The Bishops now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage Christian for a Midwest Classic contest on Wednesday, January 18.

The Mariners (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic Central (Burlington, WI). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Catholic Central was nudged by Martin Luther (Greendale, WI), 70-45, in a league contest.
