Iowa High School Basketball - Unity Christian nudges Morning Star Academy

In Friday's league outing, the Unity Christian Knights (Fulton, IL) basketball squad edged the host Morning Star Academy Mustangs (Bettendorf, IA), by a margin of 44-41.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rivermont Collegiate (Bettendorf, IA). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Rivermont Collegiate was tipped by Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL), 49-45, in a non-league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Tri-State Christian for a Freelance outing on Tuesday, January 17. Morning Star Academy will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 72-58 league loss to Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 5-3.
