With the victory, Nelson Island improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Islanders host Nuniwarmiut (Mekoryuk, AK) to confront the Herders in a 1A Alaska Coastal challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Herders come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Nuniwarmiut lost 57-23 in their recent league challenge against Chaputnguak (Chefornak, AK)
Next up, the Nighthawks confront the Chaputnguak Shaman (Chefornak, AK) in a 1A Alaska Coastal challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Nightmute Elitnaurviat will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Shaman come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 57-23 league win over Nuniwarmiut (Mekoryuk, AK).
