Missouri High School Basketball - Northwest tops Stover
January 13, 2023: Stover, MO 65078 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Mustangs (Hughesville, MO) and the host Stover Bulldogs (Stover, MO), saw Northwest's basketball squad knock off Stover by a tally of 46-37.
With the victory, Northwest improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Tipton (Tipton, MO) to play the Cardinals in a Kaysinger challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 12-2.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Smithton Tigers (Smithton, MO) in a Kaysinger challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Stover will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 56-47 league loss to Otterville (Otterville, MO).
